Lens and red burger


(makes 12 patties)
1 cup of lentils
1 cup of red beans
5 cups of water
2 tbsp of soya sauce
1/4 cup of bread crumbs
5 tbsp of wheat gluten
1/2 onion
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp of miso powder
2 tbsp of potato starch
1 tsp of chilli pepper powdered (merken)
1 tsp of ginger powered
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of pepper
1/4 cup of oil
1 cup of bread crumbs
2 tbsp of nut powdered

Let the red beans soak overnight.
In a pan heat 3 cups of water and the red beans for forty minutes until they are tender.
Heat another pan with 2 cups of water and the lens, cook for twenty minutes until tender.
Blend the pulses with the garlic, and the onion.
Mix the mixture with the soya sauce, the bread crumbs, the wheat gluten, the miso powder, the potato starch, the chilli pepper, the ginger, the salt and pepper.
Form some patties.
In a plate mix the bread crumbs and nut powder.
Dip the patties the the bread crumb mix.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, fry the patties on each sides until gold.
Serve.

    un peu de gluten pour que ça setienne mieux…belle idée, il faudrait que j’en emplisse le congelo pour les jours de flemme

    Merci pour ton feedback. C’est une recette qu’on utilise au moins une fois par semaine ici (grâce au congélo).

    Perso, avec 5 càs de gluten ça tient juste bien, assez pour former des burgers et ce n’est pas trop “dur”. Bear adore le fait qu’ils soient plus “tendres” et “juteux” que la version burger à la viande.

    Les congelés tiennent très bien, je les fait revenir sans les décongeler. (Et nous n’aimons pas trop un goût de gluten trop présent).
