1 cup of black lentils
1 clove of garlic
2 cup of water
4 tsbp of olive oil
pinch of cumin
pinch of curry powder
Cook the lens with the water and the garlic clove.
At boiling point, reduce the heat and cover.
Cook until all the water is absorbed.
Take out the garlic clove and add salt and pepper and the spices to the lens.
With a pattie maker mould out finger size lens patties.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the patties on the four sides.
Drain well on kitchen paper.
Can be kept in a preheated oven at 150°C/300°F in order to keep warm.
